These terms are an agreement between you and the owner of the cinemarium app on how to use the app and the cinemarium.ru website. The owner is Dmitrii Nikolaevich Shelopugin, a self-employed individual registered in Russia (taxpayer ID 143522342377), referred to below as “we”.
1. General
By installing the app, signing in or using the app, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The app is intended for people aged 18 and over.
2. Your account
You can sign in with Apple, Google or Yandex ID. You are responsible for access to that account and for everything done in the app under your sign-in.
You can delete your account at any time: Profile → Settings → “Delete account”. Your collection, ratings, notes and lists are deleted with it.
3. What you may not do
- Bulk-download the app’s catalog, texts or images, including with programs and scripts.
- Interfere with the service: bypass limits, flood the server with requests, look for or exploit vulnerabilities, or impersonate another user.
- Give lists names that break the law or other people’s rights: insults, calls to violence, other people’s personal data, advertising.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
4. Content and sources
Descriptions, essays, editorial lists, the app’s design and code belong to us. You may view them in the app and share links to them, but you may not copy them to other services without our permission.
Some information comes from open sources, credited in the app (“About”):
- Wikidata, under CC0;
- Wikipedia, under CC BY-SA;
- Wikimedia Commons: photos of people and some posters, under free licenses or in the public domain;
- Streaming Availability API (Movie of the Night): posters and streaming service data.
Film titles, posters and other third-party materials belong to their rights holders and are shown for reference.
The names and contents of your lists belong to you. When you share a list by link, you allow us to show its name and films to anyone who has the link.
5. Trailers and YouTube
Trailers on film pages are shown in the embedded YouTube player. We find trailer links through YouTube API Services and store only the video ID. The videos belong to their owners and are hosted on YouTube.
By using trailers in the app, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Data that YouTube receives is processed under the Google Privacy Policy.
If a video is removed or unavailable in your country, the trailer may not play. We are not responsible for the content of videos or for YouTube’s operation.
6. Paid features
The app is free for now. If paid features appear, we will show the price and terms before purchase. Payment will go through the App Store under Apple’s rules. Trailers will stay free for everyone.
7. The app is provided “as is”
We work to keep the app running and film information accurate, but we do not guarantee it. The app is provided “as is”: it may be temporarily unavailable, and information about films, streaming services and awards may be outdated or contain errors.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from using or being unable to use the app.
8. Restricting access
If you break these terms, we may restrict your access to the app or delete your account. Unless the breach is serious, we will try to contact you first.
9. The App Store version
If you installed the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where it conflicts with these terms, these terms apply to the extent Apple’s rules allow. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.
10. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. We will announce significant changes in the app. By continuing to use the app after a change, you accept the new version.
